need help on sizing for FL

So I've searched for awhile on previous threads and am about to go into the dead zone here. I'm thinking on trying out the First Lite Red Desert briefs and am looking for sizing help. From previous threads it looks like sizing on FL stuff is all over the board like all the rest of the good hunting clothing. I've been using the exficcio stuff from Cabelas and it's better than cotton but by day 4 it's not too happy down there. I'm 6' and 215 with a size 38 in Levi's and Kuiu attack pants which both fit loose enough my wife calls them my "old man" pants. I like my junk snugged up so no boxers for me. Any help is appreciated before I drop a hundred bucks on a couple pairs of underwear. Thanks guys....

I would say XL on the Red Desert briefs. I wear the L and I pack out the 34 Kuiu Attacks like they are womens yoga pants. I also wear Exoficcio in L and whatever size you wear in exoficcio should fit about the same but my size L exoficcio are slightly looser than size L Red Desert. I can wear an XL Red Desert but like you I prefer a snug fit down there the waist is fine and the legs are tight but everywhere else is loose in the XL.

Dang. Those are some expensive undies!

I swear by the Duluth Trading Company's Buck Naked boxer briefs. They have beaten out Patagonia, ExOfficio, and Ice Breaker.

Best part is that they are synthetic and somehow don't get stinky. Trust me. I've worn the same pair for a week and they aren't "out of the washer" fresh but may smell better than I do.
