I went to a minimalist front pocket wallet years ago due to a recurring lower back issue. I would carry a bison leather wallet for work and switch out to UL Cuben Fiber or Dyneema trail wallets with (semi) waterproof zippers for outdoors. Eventually I pretty much quit switching out and now just carry an UL. Cheap, light, protective and durable.

As far as leather wallets go, I have had good service from Filson and Coronado Leather wallets.

Ghurka....... you are gonna pay severally for it but me and my father have both had one for 21 years and counting. Mine looks brand new still. Zero issues at all. You won’t find one any better IMO.

I am a leather worker and make custom wallets among other things. There are alot of really good home craftsmen out there so that's the direction I would recommend for something with a lifetime warranty and a wallet that will probably last 100 years.

I've had the same leather bill fold that I purchased from Wilson's Leather back in 2001. Has many hunting trips on it and few deployments on it. Going on 20+ years and still going strong.

Can anyone suggest a good quality leather wallet that will last more than 2 years. I am sick of replacing them every few years. Just looking for a simple quality leather trim fold

Alpine Swiss. My last one lasted six years. They're really well made and good looking. $18.

I carried a leather front pocket wallet for years. Then it wore out and I bought one of these:

I got the carbon fiber version. Spendy, but I've been carrying it for well over a year and it looks like it just came out of the box...
I also have a carbon fiber Ridge. It's one of my favorite overall purchases in 2021.
It does not get more compact or lighter than a carbon Ridge, and fits all my essentials.

If you don't need to have a wallet be a fashion statement or conversation piece and you want slim and small I encourage you to google Big Skinny Wallets. I've had one for years now and it's broke in but far from worn out. I don't expect it to be worn out for decades.

My wife bought me the No. 3 wallet from Holtz leather. I like it a lot and seeing it lasting many years to come. They have all kinds of others wallet styles too.

A little wear and tear, but still working. Nevermind the stickers. My daughter into trolls.
