Nebraska Elk

Very cool Jordan! That looks like it had a lot of meaning for you. I'm always curious when folks have multiple years of antlers from the same critter. How did the sheds tape out? Did it seem like he was still putting on mass?

EPIC video! I can't believe that was self filmed - I almost couldn't tell at first.

How special to have that experience on your own ranch. I was blown away that the elk just live in the corn like that.

Very cool !!

I love seeing the mass they can put on in areas with some ag ground. The extra points are cool too.
Well done.

I need to re-tape, I lost my individual measurements. He grew about 4” of beam length and his mass was pretty similar. Lost some length on his front end. When I get him back I will re tape and compare! We had him at 377 and change green.

Thanks! It’s certainly more time filming than hunting, but worth doing. They really lean on it, they’ll get a few rows back and stick their head up as far as they can to look out. We started using cow decoys to get them to come out of it.
