Up for sale is my very nice, complete, AR-15 upper receiver.
All components were purchased new by me, except for the Aero upper receiver, which has seen < 200 rounds since new.
The barrel was lightly bedded when assembling to the upper receiver using green Loctite 620 (barrel extension to receiver was a great, snug fit already).
The face of the Aero receiver was properly lapped with a PTG lapping tool (used garnet compound, not silicone carbide).
Aeroshell grease was used when installing the barrel nut to the receiver (torqued to spec two times/backed off, before final tightening of the nut).
A dab of blue Loctite was applied to both gas block bolts, when attached to the barrel.
The Ripcord barrel nut wrench is included.
The over all barrel length is 16.125 with the pin and welded muzzle device (P&W done by the reputable D. Wilson MFG in Denver).
I shot the rifle once to sight in some Scalarworks iron sights, about 30 rounds total.
I have two other .556 rifles, and needed the lower attached to this 223 Wylde upper…so I just don’t have a need for this nice upper to be living in my safe.
