Has anyone hunted turkey in NE New Mexico? I know there are birds out there but I am unaware of the land access situation. I know its a stretch but figured I'd check in here first.

I’m not to sure how Far north east you are planning on going but if you are looking at cimmaron canyon. Is good for turkey .

I know have seen a lot of turkeys on highway 120 east of the Canadian river
