I have been fortunate enough to go out a few times since the opener on the 29th. I have seen a few nice bucks buck haven't got it done yet. I took some video and pics of some of the better bucks. The 2 best bucks I saw a couple hours before the season opened in pouring rain so the video is crap. But I got a few others on video also.

I love hunting western ND, awesome country, almost as good as the mountains except the oil fields are killing a lot of it. have the deer numbers came back up? I know a few years ago tags were really limited. this was north of grassy butte.

Deer numbers are down still. Rifle tags were cut by another 200 for muleys this year. Still a pretty good hunt since its otc for resident archers. I haven't been out since last week. Going to try and head out the next few days for at least a morning hunt.

Couple videos from some different bucks. Sorry the quality sucks. The lone 4 point I was going to get better video of and he took off. My buddy and I spooked the 2 bucks together. The one on the left is a heavy 4x3 the one on the right is a big framed 3x3. We didn't know they were there and were concentrating on a big 4x4. The 4x4 bedded down in a real thick draw. We backed out and went to work for what we thought was only going to be a few hours and ended up working passed dark so we didn't go back out.
