Ordered 500 shell shock cases to play with. Hopefully I didn't waste a bunch of money.
Plan is to load cheap 55 fmj's at a moderate charge to fire form them for my AI chamber. Then start pressure testing.
Scanned through the thread. Didn't see too much in guys improving these.

Early on it seemed like a bust for a few guys. Any updates?

You know you can’t re size them right? They are a 1 and done case, atleast with currently available dies.

I run em in a 16” Tikka .223/80 ELD Xs. Just decided to be happy with a little extra speed and not what they advertise. 2800ish fps with 25 gr XBR 8208. They’re consistent and accurate for me there. Probably wouldn’t buy them again but gonna use what I have. Gotta PVA 7 twist .223 Tikka tube I plan on AI’ing with Lake City brass to scratch that itch ultimately. Don’t think these cases are gonna be of much use for fire forming for you unfortunately…

Yeah I found that out right after. It was like the time I found out Santa wasnt real
Hahaha canceled the order. Though loading them for 77's for the gas gun could be fun.
I assumed that they were like 277 cases.
