I was looking at the oneiros redirect this afternoon and pulled out my pack to try an idea. If you feed the free end of your waistbelt back through one side of the three bar slider that is at the end of your waist belt pad you have a free, perfectly functional power pull waist belt. I love it when free works.

Works fine for tightening; not so much when it comes to loosening.

I found this out about a year ago when I was trying to find a way to tuck the extra waist belt webbing to neaten things up. It works great as you said. I found it kind of funny when Onerios Valley came out with this accessory. At least they aren't charging a ton for it, but I'm with you, I'll take free all day long!

Yeah, it's not too big of a deal for many. Just an area I saw that could be improved simply.

It takes an extra couple of seconds to loosen up but adds no weight or complexity to the pack. The guys at oneiros valley have a good set up for a very fair price if the loosening bothers you. For me using the existing 3 bar is just fine.

I ran my webbing through the three bar slider for a few months, but was always worried when cranking down on it that I would break that slider, so I stopped using it that way.

I've been using the OV belt guides for a couple of months now. It seems like it puts less stress on the slide, bit not really sure. Only concern with it so far is whether or not I'll be able to take them off should I ever want to. They were kind of tough to put on, but work well.

The Guides distribute the force throughout the triglide, rather than solely on the front bar as is the case when routing the waistbelt webbing through just the triglide.
To remove the Guides, just push the Looploc and excess webbing toward the triglide's rearmost bar, tuck the folded webbing under the rear bar and pull a corner through.
