Mystery Ranch Pop Up 28 Travel Question

I recently purchased a Mystery Ranch Pop Up 28 pack for an elk hunt I've got coming up and was wondering if anyone has flown with this pack as a carry-on? I ask because the pack has the heavy-duty aluminum pole stays and was curious if this would be an issue going through security. I know these poles are part of the frame but was wondering if security might see these as a potential weapon. Thanks all!

You can easily travel with this but the waist belt is pretty beefy and stiff, might be easier if you remove it prior to flying.
