I use my Pintler 4 months a year and am several seasons in with no serious problems. I have added some Kifaru pouches to it and can get 5 days of food and gear into it while still leaving the meat shelf available for the pack out. (My bag or quilt is compressed into a dry bag secured to the bottom of the pack) My only complaint is that the top Y zippers can be a little stubborn, but I rarely use them anyway. With the straps going up to the frame, it's fairly secure without using the zippers. Hard to beat the pack for the price.
