Which frame do you prefer...and why?

I have the Guide Lite frame and can vouch for its durability. I currently use it as a training ruck in the gym. I’ve packed 3 Bears, 3 Deer, and 1 Elk with it. The frame is a tank. It seems really flimsy on first glance but it’s holding up great. There was some hot spots on it from rubbing against equipment but nothing Leuko Tape and Electrical Tape couldn’t cover.
Currently after 4 years of abuse the straps from the pack to the frame are wearing out. I blame it on weight plates not the company.
I will say the frame creeks a lot. I have no experience with the popup but it seems solid maybe it creeks less I’m not sure. The Guide Lite Mt also has bigger bag options if you’re into that.

I’ve had them both. Popup is nice for day hunts but definitely go with the Guidelite for multi day hunts. It’s slightly better at carrying heavy load. I sold my Popup and now do it all with the Guidelite

MR has good service if you want to send it in. They currently have my Guidelite MT frame because the creak issue became so bad. They are wrapping the carbon spars in tapes so they don’t rub the fabric and make that noise

I liked my guide lite MT. Did not love it. Now use a K4 and handles heavier loads much better.
One thing I did not like about the guide lite is that there were no straps to directly strap meat to the frame. only option is to sandwhich meat between the frame and bag and secure it that way. not a huge deal but could sometimes be a pain to position and secure loads properly.
I am not positive but I think the newer MR frames have straps directly on the frame. Mysterium frame maybe?? I'm not sure that they make the Guidelite MT anymore so bag only options may be limited but should also be able to find a good sale on one. theres often MR packs for sale in the classifieds.
