Has anyone used one yet or at least handed it? Thoughts on form and function ?

I run a mystery ranch crew cab still and this pack shares a lot of similarities. One thing I don't like about my pack is having to constantly unbuckle and re-buckle all the straps when I want to get into certain pockets or the center of the pack. The divide looks even worse in that regard. Unbuckling 5 straps just to have to undo 3 zippers to get to a warming layer or rain jacket would get to me. For that reason I like the top loading feature of the crest more, but the crest doesn't have the support of a good waist belt or the ability to load meat. Kinda disappointed with both designs. What were your thoughts?

Keep in mind I have no experience with the actual pack and it's just my opinion from my experience with the crew cab which functions similarly.

Just from eyeballing it I find it odd they chose to build it on their day pack frame and not the guide frame, I wonder what its practical load hauling capabilities are.

Also having a good chunk of the volume stuck between the load area and your back (meaning the trizip part of the bag) means that you will either have to empty it, smash whatever is inside, or have whatever is in the load area (presumably meat) quite a bit further from your back then would be best. The CC made more sense in this regard, in that the center component went outside of the load.

Could be a handy little pack for certain things, but I'll be real curious how it sells and what the long term feedback is.

I got the divide a few days ago but it wasn't quite what I expected. I was hoping that it was based off of the traverse frame but it isn't. The frame length is roughly 20" so no lifting capabilities so when it says it could haul meat i think you would really suffer. I think it would make a good day pack hauling 20 lbs or so, but $250 is a lot to spend for that function. I will be returning mine.

Sounds like I should pass on it...thank you.
