Mystery ranch daypack lid?

Is there different versions of the daypack lid? Reason I ask is I bought a new Beartooth 80 bag only from gohunt and it did come with a lid but this lid does not have the shoulder straps to use the lid as a daypack. Unless I’m just to dumb to figure out where they hid the straps????

Beartooth lid does not have shoulder straps, it is different from Marshall lid.
