Mystery Ranch Beartooth 80 vs Exo K2 5500

Odering a new pack and thought I had my mind made up on the MR. After looking into Exo I've found myself back to square one. Any advise or opinions are greatly appreciated!

MR makes a good pack but kind of an apples and oranges deal IMHO.

That's kind of vague. I really don't understand the apples to oranges comment. Do you have experience with both?

Depends on your preferences. I personally dont like roll tops. I much prefer MRs lid and their new suspension is more comfortable on my back than the exo was (have not tried or seen their new model though). mr's belt upgrade puts them in the same league as the other top end packs (except mchale) IMO

You wont be disappointed with either though

I have the MR beartooth 80 and so far it's working out for me. It did take a while to get it fitted to my body, but it does pretty well with a 50 pounds bag of sand in the back. The only thing i would change is the amount of straps on it. If you like simple stupid bags, go Seek Outside.
