Just picked up a Terraframe 50. Then found out MR is getting out of the business.

Are there any can't-live-without accessories i should consider getting before MR closes shop?

What accessories worked for you and what didn't or were meh?

Thanks in advance.

I haven't really liked any of their add ones. Most of the Marsupial stuff works on the mystery ranch Metcalf I have, pistol holster, water bottle holder. Been very happy with those and made in the USA.

MR sold to Yeti. They’re not getting out of making packs, just rebranding the recreational portion of their line to Yeti. Don’t know how their repair service will be impacted, if at all.

A bit of an MR fanboy here.

I own a few accessories but wouldn’t say they are magic. My hunting packs are a Terraframe 80 and a pintler. I run a non MR belt pouch and water bottle pouch on that frame.

A few more thoughts:
- bear spray holster, it’s fine
- gravely, nice 18 liter day pack. A tough heavy, used it as a lid on my Terraframe 80
- in & out - great little stuffable day pack, have one for hunting and one I use for travel. I prefer the zipper version. Probably my most used MR piece.
- tech holster, it’s OK. Does the job. Well designed and well made.

Same.
I won't claim to know if 2024 MR is a ethical company.
I don't know for sure they will warranty or fix a pack five years from now.
Some of their current lineup are not very well thought out.
But the serious packs I have from them are the best load bearing I've used, between 50 and 100 pounds.
There is a substantial military/fire/police discount.

There's some amount of ill will towards them for being an ex-US company that sews in Vietnam now. I respect that criticism, but the product still holds up where it needs to -- materials, construction, design of load bearing.

I just had a warranty situation for a QA miss go pretty well. Net neutral on that, I guess.
