Anyone else try these? Girlfriend grabbed a pack of them last year and I sealed a few pieces of venison and redfish as a test. Took a few out over the last few weeks and they were perfect- zero freezer burn, and none of the bags lost their seal... and I'm using a $30 cheapo sealer.
For comparison, the plastic bags seem to have about a 15-20% failure rate on their seals within a year in the freezer in my experience. All the literature says Mylar has much better resistance to oxygen incursion too. If nothing changes with my test packs between now and hunting season, I'll probably switch completely.
