This will be a running review as i just got the rife last week.

First Impression- super light, the folding stock was stiff but after a few times it was easy to unlock and move. The folding stock does not lock when collapsed but it is such a tight fit and fits perfectly around the bolt that i do not see that ever being a issue. The stock when folded does not rattle or make any noise, when locking it back into place it make less noise than a MDT stock. CONs- length of pull, seems like i will have to figure out how to adjust it. not sure yet.

Bolt- super smooth, smoothest i own. not saying a lot but it made me so happy to use it. no issue feeding. I did find that shooting Winchester rounds, the bolt needed a little more force. which was odd. I did not have any issues with the Hornady's.

Trigger- easy adjustments, you do not need to take the gun apart to set poundage which is amazing. I do not see any cons personally.

Stock- overall no issues for what it is marketed for (Hunting) but i would like to have a spot to rest my thumb when shooting. Not a big deal for most people i imagine. Has the MLOK rail. I will test that out down the road when i get a bipod on it. Overall build seems good.

Barrel- it is carbon fiber, comes with a muzzle break. for an out of the box break it reduced the recoil a bit. I shoot suppressed and the direct threaded can shot sub MOA and felt like a 556 round.

I will be running a NF NX8 on it and will update how that goes once i get it in the mail.

Overall, the gun shot great. i was worried it would jump or kick since it is so light but honestly it shot great suppressed. overall it was just under 8lbs with everything but a bipod. currently box Hornaday's ELDX shot great. next time i am out i will check velocity to see how it is doing out of a 20" barrel. Only thing i found odd was there is a level in the rail, not going to lie it seems like a waste. not easy to see and if i wanted a level i would add one that is more precise.

If you have any question or want me to check something out before you buy a 3k gun let me know.

Cheers

What happened?
As far as what?

I can give a update on what i have done if that is what you are asking for, apologize been a cold windy month.

Took the rifle up to our 1k range, it was 5 degrees with sustain 15 mph winds gusting 30. I used the ELDX rounds and shot 300-1000 with only 3 misses. the gun shoots super well. Due to the cold i did not try any other ammo. I really wanted to confirm i could make wind calls and shoot out to 1k with a smaller round.

Moving forward i am reloading with the ELDX and the ELDMs using VV N568, i know it is not as great supposably as N565 but i can not find 565 her in anchorage. I will also try other powders as time goes and report back on how they do.

Overall, i will be putting a NX8 scope on the rifle, just waiting for it to ship. suppressed the gun shoots well, and for being 8lbs loaded it is super easy to control and spot misses to 800 yards. past that it was tough but i blame the wind and snow.

All over the place, trying to rack my brain but to sell you on the rifle. The action is smooth as can be, the trigger actually is 1,5-4lbs which is amazing vs what they claimed to be 2.5-5lbs on their website. Comes ready to shoot off a tripod but you will need to add a arca rail in you want to be able to move it easily. the level built into the gun is my only issue, it is a waste of a level and feature. can not even see it when the scope is mounted.

if you have anything you want to know ask away. it will not get put to the alaska test till august but it shot flawlessly in -15 ish windchill.

What suppressor you run?
I am using the Rugged Alaskan 360 TI. weighs less then almost all other TI cans. Sounds amazing, and preforms great with my guns. For hunting, it is the best suppressor in my opinion. Besides that it starts to lack a lot in other areas because of how light it is and it is TI.

Have you compared it to the Area 419 Maverick?

from a quick look, that Can is designed around PRS and bench shooting. From looking at their website it is much heavier and limited by 6.5 or 30cal. it also cost the same as the TI can. PEW science has not review it, does not mean much but i tend to check out there if i do not know anyone with the can i want to buy. I have rugged because they have a no questions warranty like seekins. and it is under 6oz. i watch so many reviews of guys being like my light weight hunting rifle when the entire setup is over 10lbs. my seekins is under 8 fully loaded(without ammo). having a suppressor for hunting weighing more than 8oz is a no go for me.
