I’d probably call it a done deal and load a bunch. But if you’re going down the rabbit hole.
-What was the wind like? May account for some of the horizontal stringing.
- Did you track the velocity and specific impact point of each shot? You can then see if velocity spread is happening on the shots landing farther out from the norm.
- Did you do any prep/sizing to the new brass? Could have some neck tension variances.
I’d load up a bunch more with once fired brass. Shoot a group again and see what it looks like. It looks like it was holding 2 separate waterlines and I’d be curious if the vertical dispersion was ES related or shooter/mirage/environmental related. The gun is going to have its limits, but the patterns look too distinct to be just dispersion.
