Thanks for the pic, it's crazy how so many of us ended up in the same area.here is a pic of your ram a week before you took him.
spent 3 days following him around that mountain, but I had the 2nd tag......

hey Matt yes we did, I believe you were talking with my son Dustin about your hunt.Did you end up finding another ram to shoot?
Thank you very much, I appreciate it!Great read, enjoyed every bit! Congrats man.
I definitely expected more guys to be farther north, we all had the same thought I guess.from what I could find out the year before only one ram was taken out of there and in talking to him he ran into nobody either scouting or hunting. so thats when we went up to take a look and ran across 18 rams that day. now not all by far were not shooters but there were 3 pretty good ones with one being a dark Chocolate ram. it wasnt until two weeks later I was up and found him from the road with his 4 buddies and spent the 3 days watching out how they worked it. he hit the road side about every 3 days then would be on the west side roadless side for a day then the south side the next still visible from a road a couple miles away but there was a small snow patch over there that they would go to for water.
but it was crazy how every one was there on the opener. I really thought most would be up north were several rams have been taken the last few years including that 41''by the guy from Rigby. but thats hunting and just before mine started we did find a real toad that was a bugger to get on he thought he was a mtn goat where he was going into straight cliffs, would have went probably 800 ft if i shot him there. lost him after 3 days of chasing and nobody ended up with him soooo with the easy winter he's still up there I'm sure. Ha
congrats on getting him off the bat.
