Yours looks bigger, what'd he score?Thank you very much! I think when you don't get excited anymore it's time to hang it up. Looks like you shot a dandy, congratulations to you too!

Awesome story and writeup, congrats on a stud ram!
I know the emotions well...I also was lucky enough to draw and harvest (including a first shot miss) an Idaho Rocky this year.
It's always hard for me to tell in pictures. Your's looks like he has a lot of great mass.Yours looks bigger, what'd he score?
Ouch, a broken pelvis is definitely not conducive to sheep hunting. Haha I'm glad you were still able to get it done. I actually crashed my dirtbike while scouting a month before my season and broke my 2 front teeth almost in half, and hurt my knee to the point I think I may have slightly tore something. It still doesn't feel 100%. I didn't think about adding that to the story until after I posted it. HahaCongrats to you as well on your hunt and ram! Good write-up in Idaho Wild Sheep journal as well! My write-up of my '24 Idaho Cali ram hunt is in that issue as well. I missed a shot too and broke my pelvis two weeks before season opened so I'm in the ups and downs of sheep hunting club also!
@JREG19 you should consider submitting your story as well to the Summer '26 issue - you've got it written up already and great photos!
Idaho Wild Sheep journal They publish each issue for free online reading. Lots of good tales of sheep hunts - I'd recommend reading mine if you have trouble falling to sleep, should do the trick!! Outlook8 has great story and pics - great ram!
