Looking for Recs on my first suppressor. I don't shoot alot; we mostly sight in and hunt.
Looking for a multi-caliber I can use on a couple different rifles depending on scenarios. From my previous research my assumption is a standard .30cal will cover all my rifles.

Budget is $1,000

Calibers: 6.5CM, 7PRC, 300BK

This won't be a range toy. It'll be carried on my 6.5CM for Whitetail regularly at home or my 7PRC for Elk out West.

Thanks in Advance!

Hoping to get some advice from the group. I’ve researched a few over the past 6 months, but would definitely appreciate input.

OCL Hydrogen S, DD enticer STI, Scythe, Dead Air nomad ti, etc. There are a number of thread on here to check out, but you might try to decide where you are going to buy it from first, as that might help with what options are available. Silencer shop, LGS, Capital Armory, etc.

Things I didn’t know before establishing my budget…… Is the 1K budget without the required $200 tax stamp? Are you going to set up a trust (safe $50-100) or buy as an individual? If you buy it from an online retailer, the ffl it will have to ship to will charge a NFA item fee for pickup; the ones I was looking at quoted me $100-200 just for their part of the deal. The first $1000 suppressor, if budget truly is set, might end up needing be in the 500-600 range once it’s all said and done.

AB A-10 7.62 or an OCL Polonium-30 would be my first considerations. Easily within budget including sales tax and tax stamp.

The Thunderbeast Silencer Summit results are a good resource if you want to hyper analyze most of the options out there.

I’ll recommend one that doesn’t get talked about much. The Ecco Machine accipiter. I have a steel version 7.5” but would love a titanium in 6-7”. It is easily my quietest suppressor ( I have omega 300, banish backcountry, trash panda, harvester eco) and I genuinely enjoyed supporting a husband/wife business and talking with them.

I just purchased a YHM Resonator K.

Budget can with a great adapter system. I don’t hike miles, nor do I need superior suppression. After Taxes, Shipping and Fees it was just under the budget listed.

You don’t need to sink $1.5-2k into a suppressor for casual use.

I’ll second this; I’ve had Ecco machine recore a number of suppressors and have 2 of their Five by Fives. Very impressive suppressors. and a 6-7” titanium Accipiter would be within your budget and they did very well in the TBAC 2024 Silencer Summit, at least their 8” version. The Diligent Defense STI and Otter Creek Hydrogen S would be great options, as well, within your budget.

After pouring over the summit data, I feel the best can for metering at shooters ear that's short/compact was the new nomad ti XC. Muzzle readings were higher than others but their baffle design somehow greatly deflects rear ward DB and psi levels. A guy at my range has one on a 22in 7prc and it's quieter in observance than my tbac, diligent and scythe cans on a 6cm. I have both the ti XC and lti XC nomads on form4 waiting list right now.
