My first Mule Deer hunt, Idaho Unit 40... awesome time!

I've got to thank fellow forum member Mtnboy for all of the help and tips that he gave me for my Idaho Unit 40 Rifle Rut hunt!
Being the greenhorn that I am, the help he gave me really made the trip a great one.
The buck that I took certainly isn't a monster but for this midwestern whitetail hunter, I'm nonetheless very proud of the accomplishment.
Pardon the selfies... I traveled out from Southern Indiana by myself and had no better options.

I'm always amazed at the amount of help you can get from brothers of common kind.

He's a great looking buck, got some character. Congrats on drawing a great tag. That's a very tough tag to draw. I've been putting in for it for 9 years and have yet to draw. Love that area too, there are some absolute monsters down there.
