I had to return a pair of BX 4s to sportsman's due to horrible purple fringing, Got the new pair and liked them until they fogged up, spent 20 to send them to Leupold got a brand new pair with another purple fringing problem, spent 20 dollars to send them back to Leupold, got a new pair liked them till they fogged up, sold them , I also had to send my 15x56 bx5s back because the focus stopped working, that's a total of over 60 dollars I had to spend to send they're mistakes back to them, used my kids pair of BX2s for a bit they fogged up on the same day I was using my sx4 spotter on the same day it fogged up. No joke. I haven't yet sent the latter two optics back I'm wondering it's worth dealing with Leupold.

I have used Leupold products for the last 35 years including scopes, binocs and range finders and never had an issue or problem and I've used them a lot. That said,....things change...companies change and more crap is made in China. I wouldn't hunt with gear I couldn't trust so I would consider upgrading to something more reliable. I would probably send them back and see if they would give you credit towards a better or different product offering to get some of your money back.

Is it my imagination or have I read these same exact words in three separate posts? Cutting, pasting and reposting multiple times comes across as a vendetta and does little to support your obvious concerns with Leuphold.

I’ve carted my VX 3 and Leupold binocs across much of North America and Africa and they have been rock solid.

I've had three scopes---VX3, 2vx6 and all are really nice IMO. I also have some binoculars that I keep in the truck that are fine. Is there better glass out there, yes they don't compare to my swaro EL but for the price I think they are a solid company with a solid product.

Probably should quit breathing on them

SMH at guys who do not know that external fogging happens on all optics...

Exactly what I said in one of the other threads... but he dual-wields binos and has a spotter handy too.

Probably carries a telescope in a scabbard slung on his back and uses the sun to melt his game to death... unless it's too foggy out. That's why he hates the fog. Figured it all out.

I'm just kiddin 😜

Yes after checking he did cut and paste this several times in different forums and that won't be tolerated.

If your experience with a manufacturer was so bad you need to share multiple times atlest have enough common curiosity to type it out everytime. Otherwise it's pretty disrespectful to other members who have to read the drivel across multiple forums.
