Help! Shot my first bull this fall and just got my euro mount back… laid it in my basement to get ready to hang and came back to find my dog completely chewed off half the skull. Any recommendations of places with extra bull skulls? I can’t swallow having to mount him on a fake skull or any other way.

You would only need the top half of the skull and a donor cape from someone to do a shoulder mount instead as an option.

That sucks buddy my dog ate the nose off a bull I was boiling last year, went to town for more propane and set it on the wood pile till I got back, turns out that was a bad idea!
Sounds like that bull is destined for a plaque mount

That’s a heartbreaker. A similar thing happened to me a few years ago. I had a nice 6 point euro and had it leaned up against my work bench. My FIL accidentally stepped on the nose and snapped it off. I ended up taking it to my taxidermist and having him do an antler panel mount. Not was I was wanting but I’m actually very happy with it.

Talk with your local taxidermist. I do a few each year with reproduction skulls. Your taxidermist should be able to get you one and take care of you. They are not quite as nice as the original skull but they are still very good
