Incredible job! What weight cordura did you use? Did you add any PALS to the inside? Very impressed with your work. You should be proud!

Milspec monkey used to carry them but haven't in a couple monthsWhere did you source the 3 bar sliders? I can't seem to find the metal ones to attach the panel to the bottom of the frame.
Thanks
Mike

I ordered last night. It wasn't tough to put together a good sized order. That have lots of great stuff! They came from Hudson Supply. Like Don Carpenter said, try to order a good amount of product to help offset the shipping.
for those who have made one of these,
did you double up the material as in 2 ply it looks like the kifaru might be?
ckossuth what did you use for the edges around that panel? i forgot the name of it, remember where you bought it
Thats what i do, i have heard of guys ironing the grosgrain first to make the sewing easier. 7/8" or 1" would be my choice. 3/4" is short when folded over. What size grossgrain? Are you just folding and grossgrain in half and sEwing it to the cut edge of the pannel?
Don,
Can you explain how you attached the loops to the pane? Does the Kifaru panel integrate the loops as part of a continuous pals webbing?
ckussoth or don carpenter what color is that grosgrain? coyote? you get i t at rockywoods? ive seen the vendors just trying to find a color to replace the one i wanted, cannot seem to find the green close to kifaru.
also do you use straps to hold the outside(further from your back) panel to the frame? so you can adjust to different thickness loads i assume?
