The factory front site on the Optima V2 is plastic junk. I was sighting a scope and the front sight come loose. If I ever go to a state with a no-scope rule, will buy new sights for it.

Love my Accura and grabbed an Optima for my dad for Christmas. It will be his First ML. Great choice of sights there!

You had mentioned loads this are a few I have worked up so far:

777 pellets 100gr 50/50- Federal Bore Lock 270 copper with a felt wad between
Groups 3” high at 100

777 loose 100 grain - Pwr Belt platinum 270 gr groups really well 6” high at 100 yards

Working on a all lead load, have some NE 420’s I want to try, and pwr belt all lead.

Using Williams peeps and globe.
