I’ve been on the search for the perfect puffy layer for the past year and tried several out, but just wasn’t finding what I was looking for. I wanted something light, fit really well and of course WARM. Lol. I somehow stumbled onto GooseFeet Gear and found a review on a custom Anorak down jacket made to the customers specs. I shot an email to them and within five minutes had a reply giving me specs and price. I ended up going with a jacket made exactly for my measurements, 4oz of 950fp DownTek treated down, 20d material on the outside and 10d on the inside. Ben Smith from GooseFeet gear was insanely fast to answer any questions I had and was a joy to talk to. This jacket with my specs was $310 shipped. Expensive for sure, but when compared to some others it’s a pretty good price for what you get. Finished weight is 8.5oz (with no stuff stack)
