My biggest buck

Last Saturday I had this buck come in chasing a doe. 32 yard shot from my stand ended up being a hit but no kill as you’ll see in the picture I hit him on top of the back

On Tuesday I check a trail cam to find out he was still alive!

Daylight this morning he comes in grunting looking for a lady. The shot was at 7 yards and he ended up running maybe 20 by the time it was all said and done. We put a tape on him this afternoon and he came to 156.50 and by far my biggest deer today! Very blessed to be able to take this deer.

Yes sir. I was glad too! We taped him today. 156.50 inches.

Side note, he’s unbelievably similar to the deer I shot this year. The shape of his rack and everything. Even scored very close to the same. Pretty neat

I am too. I was thankful the shot the week before wasn’t fatal. We searched for two days for him. We though I hit him low turns out it was high.

Yes sir. I couldn’t believe it. My best friends Dad actually had him come in a few days before as well but didn’t have a shot at him. I guess he was just meant to be mine.
