Nice! Curious on the brass you're loading right now and your OAL? Mike @HellsCanyon will be putting together a 300WSM for me with a ~24" bbl. Plan was to shoot 215s but I only have 150 or so. I was able to find a bunch of 200.20x's so I bought them. May be going that way instead. I will be starting with Norma brass. Definitely following this project!

I strongly suggest rl23, I've gotten over 2900fps with the 200.20x with Norma brass in a 22.5" 1:9.5tw wsm built on a Tikka, I'm freebored for 215s so the 200.20 is WAY up the neck touching. I've found good accuracy 15k,35k,45k and 90k off lands with the 200.20x 90k off lands has the bearing surface just above nk shoulder junction.

Enough room for rl23 in a short action?

I wanted to build my supressed 6.5saum on a bumblebee, but Bat never could give me a solid answer if I could install a bainey or CA 6.5 prc box that would allow me to get 3.05-3.1 coal loaded. I know Whaley will cut on anything so maybe he could shed light to that. He opened my helios for 4" wyatt's box quite easily.

They talk about mag length in the podcast they did with Ryan and Tanya. It's towards the end but there's some good info on there about all their actions.

@Unknown Munitions
Loaded me up some Berger 200x20 with IMR 7828ssc and VV570. The 570 didn't hit 2600 fps with the max load. The 7828ssc went 2848 with mild pressure signs. I need more rounds and some ten-shot groups to confirm but I think we are off to a good start.

I don't like RL 26. It had very weird temp spikes for me. I will be trying some VV-568 and ADG brass when it comes out.

This three-shot group was 68 grains of 7828ssc, all three shots were 2848. I guess @Unknown Munitions knows how to load bullets:)

Ryan, I know you've got some stuff going on with 7828ssc, but I think RL26 might be worth another look with a different primer. It was worth the effort to test in my 300 WSM loaded similarly.

I was seeing some strange spikes every once in a while with Fed 210s so I switched to CCI250s with identical velocities and the spikes were gone. Might be worth a try if you want to chase out a few more fps.

You haven't heard any news/rumors on a release date for this stuff by chance have you? They've been teasing us with this stuff for a long time now I'm starting to think it's just that, a big tease. :cool:

I believe so, it compresses well too.
Try Hybrid 100V, N560, or Superformance, works REALLY well in my 22" 300 Sherman Short Mag.
Get a cheap food dehydrator from Target, dehydrate your powder for 1 hour before throwing it, use a drop tube and you can get all you'll need in there, you'll get more speed/grain, lower your ES/SD + negate any lot-to-lot inconsistencies. Benchrest guys have been doing this for decades.
