My 2025 Alaska Caribou Hunt

Sounds like you had an awesome trip!!! My buddy and I plus a couple other guys went to Adak in Oct 2025, 5 days in the field and didn't even see one caribou. That was my first Caribou hunt but not my buddy who hunted the Range before and did good. I am planning our next trip in 2027 and will look into the area you went as it sounds interesting.

I would really like to see your spread sheet on your equipment if you don't mind.

Thanks Dan
I will PM you my pack list

Got the spreadsheet, you sir are a rockstar!!!
I actually learned a lot, not only the weights that are important but also seeing your items you bring. This will help me greatly on my trip in 2027. I really appreciate it and I hope the hunting gods look down on you for taking the time to help others.

One thing I learned on my trip to Adak, the best purchase I made was Sealskinz waterproof socks that I wore over my regular socks and my feet were always dry.

Again, thanks for the info!!

Buddy and I are booked with Tok for 2027, such a helpful write-up man!
Congrats on the caribou!

Would love to see your spreadsheet if you don’t mind, been to SEAK on a boat transport hunt before but the 50lb limit in conditions with potential for really nasty/any weather makes things interesting.

I know rifles/binos are not included in the weight- did Zac weigh your bino harness/rangefinder separately or was that fair game with the binos? Not sure what to expect/how to organize for this unique hunt
