My 14yo Daughter got one

Great job we just got back from Alberta where my daughter shot a bull. It was her first time really staying outdoors. she also shot hers on day 6.

this is awesome. Haven't watched the vid yet but will pic through it a bit!! What bullet/ammo for the 243?
Winchester silver ballistic tip. I believe that’s the nosler ballistic tip. 95g. We recovered what was left of the bullet from the back end of the lung. I need to weigh it. We also found a lot of shrapnel pieces in the heart when we were cutting it up to cook.

10 day horseback hunt in BC. I underestimated how difficult it would be. Didn't realize camp was an 11+ mile ride in, up and over a mountain. I don't like horses. Weather was a miserable cold rain most days. Hope to do it again many times :ROFLMAO:. She's physically and mentally tough. Shot this guy on day 6. The bull came into 75 yards, but was blocked from her view by a 5" tree. He turned and left. We quickly moved about 50 yards in hopes he'd present himself again. He gave her a brief opportunity, and she made a perfect shot at 135 yards. She stayed perfectly calm the whole time. One shot using a .243, moose went 30ish yards and fell over. I filmed the whole thing. It may take me two years to edit the video, but I'll eventually post it.

That’s pretty special!

Absolutely outstanding. My first rifle was a .243 and still my main deer gun 40 years later. Huge kudos to you both!!
