10 day horseback hunt in BC. I underestimated how difficult it would be. Didn't realize camp was an 11+ mile ride in, up and over a mountain. I don't like horses. Weather was a miserable cold rain most days. Hope to do it again many times :ROFLMAO:. She's physically and mentally tough. Shot this guy on day 6. The bull came into 75 yards, but was blocked from her view by a 5" tree. He turned and left. We quickly moved about 50 yards in hopes he'd present himself again. He gave her a brief opportunity, and she made a perfect shot at 135 yards. She stayed perfectly calm the whole time. One shot using a .243, moose went 30ish yards and fell over. I filmed the whole thing. It may take me two years to edit the video, but I'll eventually post it.

Just fantastic young lady. Well done to you both. What a wonderful pic too.

You know @Blind Squirrel , and on a purely selfish note, if you don't get that video up within a couple weeks so the rest of us can see her in action, well, you just might be the world's worst Dad. :ROFLMAO:

Congratulations and well done to you both!

Building memories together like that are truly priceless for each of you!!

Congratulations to your daughter for her perseverance in such tough conditions and for you as her dad. Looks like it would have been a little challenging with where the bull dropped. A lifetime memory there.

Unforgettable experience with dad. Congrats to you both. Cloud nine is crowded now.

Yes. It was very challenging. Fell on its back between two downed trees. Had to scoop the guts out to gut it. Couldn’t roll it on its side. Then went an hour back to camp to get a chainsaw to cut away a chunk of one tree. It was still on a muddy hillside. Took 5 hours to break down.

Congrats to the both of you! Is that the only moose you saw?
We saw one other bull on day 3, it was smaller. It didn’t really present a shot, but we were trying to get it. Then we saw one cow right at dark on another night.
