Muzzleloader ballistics

I have a huge “shooters bible” or “hunters bible” for my centerfire rifles. It’s always been fairly accurate and absolutely gets me in the zone.
It takes the best 6” (3” rise and 3” fall) of the bullet and gives you the best zero to maximize point blank.
An example would be the attatched picture.

Is there anything like this for muzzleloaders. I know I can figure it out w the right tools but this saves a lot of time to get me in the park

That page is making a lot of assumptions. Best thing to do is simply shoot it and see what it actually does. I’ve seen muzzeloaders shoot much different gun to gun. People use different charge weights. Sabot fitment. Just a lot going on.

I don’t believe the book is making assumptions.
It’s giving a trajectory based off of ballistic data, the same as if I went into one of those calculators and input my own information. So it’s 100% for the data given.

Understanding that, I don’t take it as gospel, but what it does it give me an awesome starting point.
It also shows me what zero I want to use. And for that I’m grateful , I understand there are other variables, barrel length, quality of rifle, wind, elevation, time of day, we can go one, but this gives me a solid idea and truthfully, it’s been pretty damn close:

Have a mind for number and patience and what not, my mind does not. I don’t even own a computer, thank goodness.

My question was is there a data sheet, something for muzzleloader that says with this grain powder and this grain bullet, your zero is about 18 yards and 123 yards. Somethhht I can get an understanding of and a place to start. That is all

Yes, to be honest, I know how to get the bc of the bullet I choose to shoot, but without a chrono I’m out of luck on velocity.

I get how they work. I don’t have a chrono so I’m trying to see if there are any publications to help me figure out where I should zero for maximum point black effectiveness.

No, immmot gonna do a 13 yard zero and figure im good to 104 pb. I also don’t wanna waste time and money sighting in zero at the wrong yardage.

Start with what the load data says and work from there. Even 100fps swings don’t change your trajectory more than a few inches out to 300y with standard muzzleloader BC/velocity. It’s no more work than you’d be doing with one of those charts anyway.

Using 1732 vel and 250 grain does this look right
