Muzzle brake removal

I need some help, I have a Christensen Traverse in a 28 Nosler. I have run about 70 rounds through it and now want to put on my suppressor but can’t figure out how to get the muzzle brake off. I have tried a small oil filter strap wrench and can’t budge it. How do I Remove it????

If the brake has flats you can get a wrench on, that's what I'd do.

Soak it in very hot water and try again

If you have never removed it (for cleaning), it might have some carbon built up in the junction. Soak it in carbon cleaner and/or Kroil. Someone might have put Loc-tite on it so a little heat might help too.
