Thought it would be fitting that I kick off this kind of thread.
Here are a few "MUST HAVES" for your next backpacking style hunt.
1) Biolite Stove: http://www.rei.com/product/846334/?...792745520&msid=4ZZ89xxH_dc|pcrid|24658619080|
This way instead of hauling extra batteries or a solar panel you can just haul more fuel! Super handy!
2)Anti shock trekking poles: http://www.rei.com/product/847814/rei-traverse-shocklight-trekking-poles-pair
No need to bang up your wrists on the way in with standard trekking poles. Without these to reduce the shock, in a few years you won't even be able to shoot a wrist style release for your bow! A certain MUST HAVE!
3) The Grid spotter:
http://gridspotter.com/694/index.html
We have micro tuneable bow sights so why not apply this to your tripod head for picking the country apart. Not need for a fluid head to run your spotter or binos! Just crank the 3 easy to use knobs every which way for smooth glassing to find that big buck in the brush!
That's all for now! You can thank me later!
