Actually, according to Cameron, it's not backwards compatible, I know I ordered a SRS and had to send it back because it would not work and they don't offer a T3 compatible rail.

Interesting. I have an older T3 as well and just checked it for fit and it attached just fine using the 4 screw locations and the 1 big pin location. I have another base that has lived on both the T3 and T3X at different times without issue.
