Anyone recommend a men’s daily vitamin or supplement? Seems like there are so many options out there and tough to wade through all the marketing BS. Anything you want to look for or avoid when selecting one?

Momentous is a solid company

Im not too picky about my multi vitamin. I also take magnesium, d3, k2, fish oil, and creatine as well.

Why would they make a bottle of 30 and prescribe 4 per day?

>$50 per 10 days.... So $150 a month. Damn.

I prefer B12-based multi vitamins. "B Complex" on label. Contains a slightly different but overlapping set of vitamins usually, with some C. Makes your pee fluorescent after.

Make sure you choose "methylated" Vitamins

Non methylated sources cause issues with a large percentage of the population. There are a few podcasts about this....

Have you ever had your bloodwork done so you know what you actually need? I’ve been using Ways2Well for a year and it’s been great, they don’t push hard on buying “their” stuff and each check up has been lights out as far as actual results being made. Feel great and I’m not wasting money on stuff I don’t need or just “passing through”.

If you have a good diet and no known deficiencies, a multi vitamin is likely doing nothing for you. If it makes you feel better to take one, then just go with something you can get easily.

In modern, first world populations, there is a decided lack of evidence for benefits from multivitamins.

Mega men 2 pack from Sam’s club is what I’ve been using. My piss is the color of a highlighter so I figure they must be doing something (probably just passing through my system. lol)

I am glad you brought this up, to answer your question, no, I have not, but I am interested in hearing more about this? I recently read something about a similar company, 10X that offers something similar. Probably the best way to see what my body is deficient in, but the look costly. I am not opposed to it. Curious to hear more on it though.

It was $600 or so the first time and follow ups (6 months) are $400. Not cheap but you get a very comprehensive report and a 45 minute call with a Dr. about the results. They tell you what they recommend but are 100% on bird with you buying supplements elsewhere or even just making the changes via diet if possible. Testosterone was another cool area they cover and actually try to drive away from shots which is good for everyone, that way you’re not stuck on them forever. I did low dose DHEA and brought up almost 100 points. For $800/year I’m satisfied, especially if you factor in saved doctors visits and wasting money on supps you’re just passing through.

If you’re looking at them just make sure you get some sample reports, I found that the similar brands that were cheaper left a good bit to be desired as far as the reports/information go as well as the support once your with them.
