Mule deer season choice

Is there much difference in hunting the 2nd vs 3rd season? I wish I had points to get a 4th season tag but rather hunt than wait around. This would be a non res Colorado

Not all weather dependent, and yes there is a difference.

For a comparison to you whitetail folk would you rather hunt in October or November?

Sunny or snowy, warm or frigid, the deer will rut around thanksgiving, unless the earth tilts its axis somehow...where they will rut will depend on the conditions.

Always seems to be a 50/50 gamble which one will be 65° and sunny and which will have 3’ of fresh snow with deer running around. I would recommend doing the opposite of what I end up putting in for!
