Mule Deer Score Estimate

Curious what everyone thinks this buck will score. He’s in Eastern Oregon and based off of his body size to the other deer around I’d put him at 4.5.

Pretty rack. 2.5-3.5 yrs old, imo. He just looks young.

That being said - that buck is at my "limit". I would shoot. Smaller than that I would not shoot.

Went to CO in 2019 and decided that I wanted a buck that size or larger (saw a 3 pt with same antler size & mass and was gonna shoot it). Ended up with a larger one due to no fault of my own, just happened. Buddy missed "that 3x3 buck" the next day.

If he makes you happy - shoot him. You could do a lot worse. He's pretty.

I would also guess he's about 130"-135" and 2.5-3.5 years old.

Same range as everyone else. Mass just isn't there yet. He'll be a really solid buck in 2 more years if he makes it.

Agreed. I don't think he'd touch 130"

I'd say what I think but after shooting a buck I am very happy with and taping him this year vs what I thought I don't think my opinion matters lol. Key thing though is I am very happy with him. You should do the same. If he trips your trigger, smoke him.
