I’m looking for a few trustworthy outfitters used by members of the group to plan a rifle mule deer hunt for the fall of 2025 or 2026. I’m interested in a semi-guided or drop/spike camp style hunt. I’m flexible on location and dates to optimize draw odds although I would prefer the eastern sides of Montana, Wyoming or Colorado for private conveyance.

I am not aware of any Eastern MT outfitters that offer drop/spike camp style hunts. Most outfitter hunts are drive around and shoot a rutting buck from the truck kind of hunts. If you find an outfitter with an opening in 25 or 26 you should use extreme caution. The trustworthy ones are all booked up.
