Has anyone compared both of these bipods?

Was not a fan of the spartan connection system so I sold it.

My buddy has owned both, the mtn is definitely a little better unit. Not having to use the proprietary mount is a big one, the mtn uses a pic rail and locks in pretty solid. We both like the mtn over the backlanz. It is very light, and I was skeptical but I shot a .26moa group at 440yds with it so it’s still plenty capable.

Haven't used Backlanz, but I have used the original Mtn Gear (pic version), as well as the newer ARCA version. They definitely made some nice improvements on the ARCA version overall. Really happy it, considering the UL option that it is. It doesn't have the same lock-up/stability as something like an Atlas, but you shouldn't expect it to.

I’m used to my atlas for the machine quality and stability like you mentioned. But was impressed overall for how light the unit is. Now long term durability I can’t say, but like you said with the lightweight game something always has to give.
