MT Trespass Fee

I have a non-resident big game combo, I was wondering if there is such a thing as a trespass fee for a later season hunt. Or would I be better off hiking into the backcountry

Late season you won't be hunting backcountry. They are all out by the highway on private land waving as you drive by.
