MR inventory issues

Does mystery ranch keep ridiculously low inventory levels on purpose or??? I’ve been trying to pick up a few things from them since May and now I’m told they will not have those items in stock at all this YEAR!! It’s frustrating trying to put together my kit and not being able to purchase anything or having to purchase it all separately with their not so cheap shipping costs. Rant Over....

I assumed their inventory issues were resolved when they moved a lot of their production overseas, but I guess not. I don't do business with them anymore, but I still appreciate their made in USA products and plan on keeping that gear that I have of theirs. If you have a retailer within range, I'd try to go that route.

Funny, I went to their website the other day because I was considering a travel/edc pack that could double up for glassing/camera on day long scouting.

They have so many packs out now I figured there could be no way that they still have delivery issues. Guess I was wrong!


This is totally off topic and sorry if its the wrong thing to say, but I'm surprised people still choose them over Kifaru, SG, Exo, etc.

i have one of the other packs and it took an eternity to get as well.

anyways OP. i quit buying straight from MR. have you checked their retailers? BlackOvis and (is it) Schnees?

i got my bag from MR when it was super difficult to get. i think i missed one year entirely and had to wait for the next years run.

I know this has nothing to do with MR but all Kifaru products are two weeks built to order. And all their stuff is 100% USA made. Plus they have too notch costumer service. Might be worth a look for you.

Which items are you looking for? MR is sold out of several things, but will be getting more deliveries throughout the season. We have a big order headed our way. It was booked last November so there will be things on it that are showing as sold out for MR.

You can always check BlackOvis.com, and if the option shows up available to buy, we have it in inventory. Sorry for the sales pitch on the forum, but we'd love to help connect you with your gear if we can.

I have looked around but I get a deal purchasing direct. I was just wondering if it has always been this way or just a demand issue.
