I’m pretty new to suppressors and have limited knowledge. Feel free to talk to me like I’m a first grader.
I just recently got a 30 cal can but have yet to shoot it. It’ll get most use on my AR, but I’ll pop it onto my 6.5 CM bolt rifle for some long range/hunting too. My biggest thing is minimizing cost- I just also got my Sig MPX K and 8” hand guard a week or so ago, and just as I typed that a moth fluttered out of my wallet.
I’m all set up for direct-threading my 30 cal can (AB A-10 Warthog, $30 thread adapter). It seems like that may not be that easy on my sub gun. I’ve seen quite a few mentions of tri lug adapters but I’m not sold on that route yet. I prefer a solid mount over speedy installation and takedown, which seems to be the tri lug trade off. Am I mistaken on that?
If my goal is a low price tag and solid mount, what should I go with? Also probably wouldn’t hurt for it to be low maintenance too, since I don’t know what the heck I’m doing.
Thanks in advance!

Generally speaking, you'll want steel. Shorter barrels have a lot more pressure and gas-heat than longer ones, so titanium cans in general would not be a good option. And there's no problem at all with direct-threading a K can on an SBR. It actually removes a lot of problems, and is generally lighter. If you're worried about it unthreading, just put a little vibratite on it. If you're looking for a durable, K-sized can that's on the cheaper end, the Polonium K is a pretty good option.
