problem is people keep moving here, soon it wont be worth a shit anymore. the whole point of idaho was that nobody was here. rich established folks from everywhere else are crowding out the younger generation in this state that are trying to live in their home state.Moving to Idaho in early Oct and aren’t married to any certain city/town. Was hoping to get some insight on the best places for an all around outdoorsman.
That seems to be the problem with every state similar to Idaho except for Wyoming which is still a relative ghost state. Idaho is just tough to beat. I was born in Boise in 01 and the growth is pure insanity but can you blame the people who want to move here? No major weather issues, very appealing to conservatives, low crime, the list goes on. It’s sad what’s happened to our state because so many people have moved here in the 2000’s. Where I grew up it was still farmland and 2 laners and now it’s hardly recognizable with the amount of townhouses, apartments, you name it that pop up every year. The cost to live here alone is ridiculous and I have a decent salary job and just graduated college.
