Are there any "systems" available that you can move antlers from a shoulder mount to a euro skull?
My taxidermy has my last season's bull and I am doing my first shoulder mount. He is making the antlers detachable for ease of transport and mounting. Unfortunately I don't have high ceilings so the shoulder mount will live in the garage.
It got me thinking, it would be cool to be able to utilize the detachable antlers and put them on a euro skull that I could mount in my house. He is using square 5/8" pegs to mount the antlers to the shoulder mount but said he's never done something like what I'm describing. Does anyone here have any experience doing anything similar?

Get one of those 3d printed skulls with those peg sizes and should work just fine

I was talking to my taxidermists a year or so ago about a bear skull and hide I had just brought in, and we somehow got onto the topic of removable antlers on mounts for the purpose of moving, specific to the taxidermy mount show circuit. He was telling me of a system that sounded close to the Spartan rare earth magnet system of attachment. One magnet on the antler the other on the base. He was discussing shoulder mounts, but I see no reason why it wouldn't also work with euro mounts. However, I forget the name of the system he was using. Perhaps Google can help you find it as it seemed like a very good solution to the problem.

I just ordered a bull bracket from here that should be delivered tomorrow. I’m going to New Zealand and will saw the antlers off to bring home on the plane to attach to this.

Do you have a company you would recommend where you can chose peg sizes? Obviously having the correct peg angle is essential.
Looks like these use their proprietary peg attachments, can't find a video on how they attach the antlers.

This looks to use the same attachment style/ shape as the BuckNBullSkull link above. Obviously they use that pattern to adjust the angles of the antlers but I don't think this would work with a taxidermy shoulder mount short of using their skull in the taxidermy process.

I found https://www.nakedbuckhead.com/
This seems like a great idea to put in a shoulder mount however they should make replica euro skulls with the same cap to switch the antlers from shoulder to euro.
