hi i am new to the area in the panhandle of Idaho, not sure where to look for deer up here or how to hunt them I have been hunting here for the last 2 years and have only been able to harvest a doe, I've hunted blacktails and mule deer and elk in Colorado. just looking for some pointers

Where in the panhandle are you?

I reliably find white tails in the lower elevations of the Cabinets and the Selkirks. More valley and foothills. Don't see nearly as many in the Coeur d'Alene's, though the lower slopes on the wes side I'm sure are decent.

I mainly hunt in units 3 and 4, not
Much success there. Willing to drive a couple of hours to hunt. Just looking for some tips I am located in cda.
