Hey guys i have used several kifaru bags DT1,2, and 3, highcamp 4800 and a late season. I still own a dt2 and highcamp. For those of you that have used the warrior is it worth selling the highcamp? Just curious on your thoughts after using the new bag.

Really depends, but IMO yes I like the Mountain Warrior more than the Highcamp. Has all the pockets I would ever really need for most of my hunts rather than having to add some like on the high camp. That and the front zip panel loader style is pretty darn sweet. Wasn't sure how I'd like it, but its slick for sure!

Honestly can't decide if I want to take the EMR 2 on the Duplex or the Mountain Warrior on the Bikini frame when I go to hunt with my brother on his dall sheep hunt this fall....but I am leaning toward the MW as 2 guys and one sheep is not a high volume operation.

I just ordered a HC 48000 and I all ready own a Mountain Warrior. I think there is a niche for each depending on what you want.

Is,there a reason you would take the MW over a DT1 in this scenario?

Thanks Luke, It looks like a really nice pack and is the perfect size for what I do. Its that panel loading/access that really intrigues me. I have the new duplex frame coming in a few weeks and was just going to put my dt2 on it and leave the 4800 on the bikini. Now I am thinking I should of ordered a mountain warrior too.

Not really if you already own the DT1. However if I didn't have either I would likely go with the MW. I like the one big back pocket better than the two smaller ones. Also the access to the inside of the pack without taking off the lid pushes me to the MW as well. Still can add a pocket if you want for a spotter on the side. Hope that helps.....

Hmm. I will stick with the DT1. But, I am thinking about the EMR II once I can spend money again. Solid pack for family backpacking trips where I likely have to carry everything besides my daughter. But, I also like the Mtn Rambler.... or atleast would like to try it out..
