Mountain View archery bull hunt!

a good buddy and I drew for mountain view archery bull tags in WA this year! getting very excited to hunt big bulls in the blues!
it makes for a stressful summer of scouting on top of my Idaho bull moose tag... I know... a good problem to have.

if you have some intel on mountain view and want to help, I wont oppose...

I plan on muzzleloading for elk there this Oct. any ideas where I should start looking, iv never been there, I plan on making a trip here soon

Old thread but wanted to update after my hunt. It was an amazing experience and just how i think draw hunts should be! Although i didnt kill an elk i had a blast! Passed on many smaller bulls in hopes of a shot at mr big but couldnt bring it together. The bigger bulls really wanted no part of our calls until the last 2 days. But they would bugle all day. We would work in to 80-90 yards and call the bulls would bugle amd wander off 50 yards. Spent many days doing this. The mtn view country is absolutely brutal to hunt, very steep and unforgiving.
One day while walking out completely exhausted after chasing a bull in the creek bottom (2500) vertical feet down from the road i ran into a angry bear. That thing made me nervous i almost had to shoot it at 7-8 yards.
Anyways thanks for reading and now i am in final preparations for my moose hunt in november.
