Mountain tactical 20 MOA question

Question regarding the Mountain Tactical 20 MOA mount. I want to mount a Vortex Viper PST Gen 2 5-25x50 on a Tikka T3X lite 24 inch barrel. I see they offer receiver length and extended length for the mount. Any input on why I should go with either?

Do you anticipate having to mount the scope really far forward?

No I don’t I think the eye relief should be fine. And I’m guessing that’s why I would need a longer mount so that answered my question. Thank you

The tikka receiver is pretty long, I can’t see why a guy would want the extended version unless your running a massive scope
